Where we stayed: Cachet Boutique NYC

During our trip to New York City for Fashion Week this season, Sarah and I stayed at the Cachet Boutique Hotel located between Midtown and Hell’s Kitchen area of the city. Upon entering into the hotel, you can’t help but notice the beautiful artwork on the walls. It resembles an art gallery, with artwork that showcases a variety of women, which are available for purchase! In the near future, this will be the home to the Playboy Club, which is currently under construction. I can’t wait to come back and see how they transform the space for the Playboy Club! It will definitely be a hot spot in NYC!
Walking to your room, the hotel has a high-end motel vibe, as the center of the hotel is outdoors, which leads you to your room. The center of the hotel has an outdoor courtyard area that looks like a beautiful spot for spring, summer and fall time! Our room had a living room area which was perfect for us to display all of our fashion week clothing, jewelry, and shoes. The bedroom area was nice and cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of running around the city. One of my favorite parts of our entire room was the bathroom, which was quite spacious with a beautiful shower and vanity area.
Restaurant at Cachet Boutique NYC: Eden Local
At Eden Local, you will find fresh and organic ingredients in every single item you order. This “urban-themed farm to table restaurant offers its customers the most delicious & wholesome dishes made with locally-sourced organic ingredients”. Sarah and I ate both dinner and breakfast at Eden Local, and were not disappointed once! The first night we arrived, for dinner we ordered the Farmers Market Crudite and House Hummus which was amazing! This dish is vegan, vegetarian and dairy free! For my meal, I ordered the Whole Grain Risotto, which was amazing! It had a poached egg on top, with roasted mushrooms and Parmesan cheese! I am still dreaming about this dish. Sarah ordered the Dry Aged Burger, and of course, I had to steal some of her fries because they looked so delicious!
For breakfast the next day, we started off with some matcha and soy latte’s, both being delicious! Sarah also ordered a green juice that had romaine, spinach, kale, apple and ginger, and she loved it! She actually ordered it another morning as well, because it was so fresh! For our meals, I ordered the steelcut overnight oats, which had almond milk, flaxseed, chai spiced roasted apples, berries and cocoa nibs. It tasted like the holidays to me because of the spiced roasted apples! And Sarah ordered the Acai Jungle Bowl, which came with fresh fruits, coconut, almond butter, wolfberries and bee pollen! And then of course, we had to try the Avo Toast, so we both split this dish. It was served on rye bread and came with an egg on top, which added the perfect touch to this dish!
Whether you want to go to dinner, breakfast, brunch or to just get some drinks, Eden Local is definitely the spot for you! Their bar is incredible, and their cocktail menu does not disappoint. This spot is definitely a must-go-to in the city!
