A couple of weekends ago, I was given the opportunity to ride on the Brightline train. If you aren’t aware of what Brightline is, it is a passenger rail system that takes passengers from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach (and back), with a Miami station soon launching as well! Also, in the future, this train will travel to Orlando as well, which is great for Florida residents, as we all travel up to Orlando for Disney World frequently.

Since this was an Influencer Trip, we had a bunch of activities planned. But before I get to that, let me tell you about the train. We went from the Fort Lauderdale station, which is located at 101 NW 2nd Avenue, to West Palm Beach in what felt like 30 mins! It was super quick and a very relaxing ride. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the train itself is beautiful and super clean. Each seat has a number of outlets which is great for charging your phone, computer, tablet, etc. Also, they come through the aisle with beverages, which makes the trip even more enjoyable.

There are two types of seats you can buy for Brightline: Select Service and Smart Service.  Select Service is similar to that of “First Class” ($15 one way), while Smart Service is like “Business Class” ($10 one way). The departures start around 6:55AM and end around 7:55PM during the week. Brightline offers many promo codes as well, so be on the lookout for their deals, as I hear you can get a round trip for as little as $10 a person!

When we arrived in Palm Beach, we walked over to City Place, which is a beautiful outdoor shop area with a bunch of restaurants, shops and art installations. From there, we headed to the Culture Lab, where we received a tour of what used to be an old Macys, but now it has been turned into a cultural arts center and experiential creative space. There is a sound installation created by artist Stephen Vitiello. It is a multi-channel sound art experience. On the exterior of the building, there is an art installation by Michael Craig-Martin. It is his largest public art installation and his first in the United States!

From the Culture Lab, we walked over to the Hilton West Palm Beach, which is a gorgeous hotel. I recently stayed there in January, and you can read my review here. We went over for mimosas and to hang out outside in their pool area, which is super fun, lively and even offers Saturday morning yoga in their yard. If you are ever in Palm Beach, I highly recommend a stay at the Hilton!

After mimosas at the Hilton, we walked over to the Restoration Hardware for lunch. I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this restaurant. It is gorgeous, the food is amazing, the view is incredible and hello… it is Restoration Hardware so every single thing is beautiful! I ordered the turkey club which was delicious and of course had some French fries as a side. Again, if you are ever in the Palm Beach area, I highly highly recommend this restaurant. You can’t make reservations, which is a bit challenging, but it is worth the wait!

After lunch, we walked over to the Palm Beach International Boat Show. We walked through Clematis Street, which is a popular street in Palm Beach and has a lot of bars and restaurants. The boat show was fun and packed! All of the yachts were incredible and really impressive to see. All I kept thinking was “Wow, I can’t imagine owning one of these.” They are the size, if not larger, than most of the homes I see. It was definitely a fun experience and a nice afternoon by the water.

Before heading back to the Brightline to head back home, we stopped in at the Blink Monk, which is a really great place to grabs some drinks and food! It definitely was giving me New York City bar vibes, with their cool ambiance and music. They also host jazz nights, which I would love to experience one day! It is definitely a great local spot and apparently their wine and beer selection is top notch! We snacked on some bacon fat kettle corn, and oh my gosh! To die for! It is next level popcorn that you can’t stop eating!

At the end of the day, we headed back to the West Palm Beach location and picked up the Brightline train back home. Thank goodness for the free wifi onboard! It helps pass the time even quicker! Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention is the Brightline is pet friendly! So even your furry friends can travel with you!

Thank you so much to Brightline for a wonderful day exploring Palm Beach! I am so happy it is now easier and quicker to get from city to city and I can’t wait for my next trip!
