Where do I even begin to share our amazing experience at The Cooper’s Hawk at The Galleria. Tyronne and I were celebrating our 4th Wedding Anniversary and were so excited to have a parents night out at a restaurant we have heard such great things about. For over a year now, I have seen many people rave about The Cooper’s Hawk, so we were so excited to dine there and celebrate our 4 years of marriage there.

First off, let me start by saying that they practice a safe and socially distanced experience. When we walked in, we noticed that everyone was seated at tables that were very spaced out, which made us feel extremely safe and comfortable.

The staff was incredible and helpful. Our waitress was very accommodating and warm. She helped us pick our wine, and assisted us when we had questions about our meal choices! Their menu is very extensive! There are so many amazing dishes to choose from.

If you are a wine aficionado, The Cooper’s Hawk has an amazing wine club! There are a few different membership options, but for starters, they have a Monthly Variety Membership is $19.99 for one bottle per month.
They also offer a $37.99 membership for 2 bottles. They also have a rewards program where you can earn points and receive great benefits throughout the year!

Our Experience

We started with wine. I ordered a glass of the Romance Red, which is Concord grapes with hints of maraschino cherry and spice! It was absolutely delicious and just the right amount of sweetness I love. My husband had a glass of their sparkling rose, which he raved about.

If you ever look up The Cooper’s Hawk, you will see that they serve the most amazing pretzel bread to all their customers. That did not disappoint and we ended up having two rounds! For appetizers, were ordered Over The Border Egg Rolls and their Calamari, which was one of their specials. Both appetizers were so filling and absolutely tasty.

For our main courses, I ordered the Braised Short Rib Risotto, and my husband had their Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. We are both huge risotto fans, and since risotto isn’t offered at many restaurants, we both decided to indulge. Also, one thing I love about their menu is that with each item listed, they recommend a choice of wine that pairs well with that item, which is so helpful for someone who is a novice to wine selection.

After our meal, I was so full, but I always have a little room for dessert. We decided to split the Reese’s Ice Cream Cookie which was to die for! It was the perfect dessert to end our meal.

A huge thank you to The Cooper’s Hawk at The Galleria for inviting us to dine with you and celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. I would highly recommend dining here, especially The Galleria location, if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area. They have many locations across the US that you can find here!
