During the pandemic, I obviously stopped going to get my nails done. So I decided to purchase some products from Amazon, and try to do gel manicures myself at home. The first time I did it, the manicure didn’t last, and I was kind of put off. I stopped doing my nails until I was able to go back into the nail salon again.
Fast forward to a few months ago, I started to go to the salon again, but for some reason, my nails wouldn’t keep the gel manicures. I don’t know if it is my pregnancy, or what, but I started to get frustrated that I was paying a good amount of money every two weeks, and my gel manicure would chip within a week.
So about 3 weeks ago, I decided to give my at home gel manicures a try again, and I think I have “nailed it”! I got a few new products, that I discovered on TikTok hahaha, and I do think they have been great! The first gel manicure I did lasted me 2.5 weeks! I actually just removed it last night and did another manicure. So as I type, I have a fresh new gel manicure on and I am obsessed with the manicure I just did.
