The first day of Swim Week, Sarah and I went to I Heart Mac & Cheese in Fort Lauderdale for a delicious and cheesy lunch! I feel like we sampled every single item on the menu and left beyond stuffed! If you are a lover of all things cheesy, than I highly recommend you go and try I Heart Mac & Cheese. They have the most delicious favor mac and cheese dishes. But not only that! They have some of the best sandwiches/grilled cheeses as well! I would venture to say that there is something for everyone whether you like seafood (their lobster mac and cheese with what they are known for) or buffalo chicken (they offer this in both a sandwich and mac and cheese).
Out of the mac and cheeses we tried, my favorite was the lobster mac and cheese. It was just the right amount of cheese and had the perfect amount of lobster! Plus, it came with gold fish on top, which made me feel like a kid again!
Out of the sandwiches we tried, I really loved the classic grilled cheese sandwich that they offered. What I loved about the grilled cheese was that each sandwich comes with a small cup of roasted tomato soup. If you have never tried a grilled cheese coupled with tomato soup, you are so missing out! It is the best combo!
And if any of the items on the menu don’t suit your palate, you can “Build Your Own” mac and cheese or grilled cheese sandwich!
