Madewell Striped Culotte Jumpsuit

Living in Miami, I always try to find new clothing that is breathable but still fashionable. So when I spotted this culotte jumpsuit on Madewell’s site, I needed to have it. I love the tie detailing in the front which gives more of a casual feel. I also love the ikat stripes of this look as well. It was the perfect look for summer and I will definitely be taking it out again for spring.

I wanted to give you all an update on our wedding planning and what I have been up to lately. One thing that I knew I wanted for my wedding was bridesmaids dresses that all of my bridesmaid would love. I decided I would let them all select their own dresses. After all, everyone is a different complexion, height, weight and shape. I think it would be silly to assume that one dress would fit all of them perfectly, so I wanted them to have a dress they selected themselves. Of course I gave them guidelines as to the color palette, length and types of embellishments I wanted. Now, I am in the process of helping them select their final pick and it is a bit challenging.

In order for me to envision all of their selections together, I keep creating collages on my phone to see how the dresses mesh with one another. So far, we are off to a great start and about 4 out of 8 girls have selected their dresses. Hopefully by the end of November, everyone will have picked their dress and that can be one item I can check off my wedding to-do list.
